The global event Taiwan Circuit Board Industry International Exhibition was held in Taipei on the 21st!
The Taiwan Circuit Board Association officially announced on October 15 that the 16th Taiwan Circuit Board Industry International Exhibition will be held at the Nangang Exhibition Hall in Taipei City for 3 days starting from the 21st. It is estimated that it will attract more than 30,000 professional buyers from home and abroad.
Wu Yonghui, chairman of the Taiwan Circuit Board Association (TPCA), said that the Taiwan Circuit Board Industry International Exhibition (TPCAShow) has become an annual event in the global printed circuit board (PCB) industry. The number of booths has increased by 5% compared with last year, which will demonstrate the integration strength of the world's fastest PCB manufacturing supply chain and provide visitors with the most real-time and most diverse choices.
Wu Yonghui emphasized that this year's economic downturn has impacted various industries, and Taiwan's gross domestic product (GDP) has also been repeatedly revised downwards. The outside world is also worried about the "red supply chain". As long as the technology is actively improved, it is a small problem. It is estimated that the PCB output value of Taiwanese businessmen on both sides of the Taiwan Strait will be 57.13 million yuan this year, an annual increase of 1.46%, which is better than Taiwan's GDP growth rate.
TPCAShow2015 not only continues the basic structure of PCB, assembly, construction, green, and thermal management, but also adds three major areas of surface treatment, intelligent automation, and flexible and printed electronics, with a total of 8 major exhibition themes.
The Industrial Technology Research Institute will showcase roll-to-roll complete line mass production solutions (R2RTurnkeySolution) and laser-induced multilayer (3D) circuits, which were shortlisted for the finals of the 2015 Global Top 100 Technology R&D Awards, in the "Soft Power Zone" .
Liu Junting, convener of the TPCA Technology Development Committee and vice president of the ITRI, said that soft electronics are light in weight, low in production cost, and bendable, and are used in hot innovation fields such as the Internet of Things (IoT) and wearable devices. It is regarded as the next star industry after semiconductor and flat panel display.
TPCA pointed out that the 10th anniversary International Assembly and PCB Symposium (IMPACT) and the 6th International Conference on Flexible and Printed Electronics (ICFPE) will be held simultaneously during the 3-day exhibition period, and multiple forums will focus on IoT and wearables. Focus on future trends.
